With Google Contacts, it’s easy to keep all your contact information in one place and reach several people at once.
Configuration
To configure the Google Contacts integration, log into the Nuacom portal and go to Settings > Apps and Integrations.
There, locate the Google Contacts integration and click on View/Edit and then Connect:
On the pop-up that will appear, log in with your Google Account and accept the required permissions. When the window reloads, you'll be redirected to the Google Contacts Settings page:
There, you can choose the syncing direction, select a Contact Group to sync with and select which edit on the contact will persist when a conflicting change is detected.
Syncing Directions
The available directions are:
- Sync Both Ways -> All contacts will be synced back and forth to Google and Nuacom
- Only from Google Contacts -> Contacts will be synced only from Google to Nuacom
- Only to Google Contacts -> Contacts will be synced only from Nuacom to Google
Conflicting Changes
When you edit the same contact in both systems, based on the selection, you can choose to keep the change that was made on Nuacom or Google. This is irrelevant to the syncing direction.
For example, you may choose to sync Only From Google Contacts, but the contacts are to be defined from Nuacom (when you make a change to the same contact on both systems = conflict).
When you finish with your choices, click on Save and then Sync Contacts to initiate the syncing.
That's it! You have successfully set up Google Contacts.
