NUACOM Odoo CRM Integration Setup Guide

This article explains how to integrate NUACOM with Odoo CRM.

The integration allows you to identify Odoo contacts during inbound calls, access CRM details instantly, and automatically log call activities in Odoo, including call recordings and AI-powered call insights.

Initial Setup

Initial Setup

  1. Log in to your NUACOM customer portal

  2. Navigate to Settings → Apps and Integrations
     

  3. Locate Odoo in the Apps and Integrations list and click View / Edit.

  4. In the modal window, click + Add New Account.

  5. You will be asked to complete the following fields:

Username & Password
Use the same email address and PIN you use to log in to Odoo

DB (Database Name)
Your Odoo database name (for example: nuacom-test-account)

URL
Format: https://<DB>.odoo.com
Example: https://nuacom-test-account.odoo.com

Display Name
A friendly name to identify this Odoo account in NUACOM

Click Connect to continue.

Note:
Initial contact synchronization between Odoo and NUACOM may take some time.

 

Configuration

Company Mapping

  1. If your Odoo account contains multiple companies, select the company to associate with this integration.

  2. Click Save Company Mapping.

     Numbers Mapping

     

3. Use this option if you want to log calls only from specific phone numbers.

If no numbers are selected, all calls from all numbers will be logged by default.

Click Save Number Mapping.

 

User Mapping (Highly Recommended)

Map NUACOM users to their corresponding Odoo users to ensure calls are logged under the correct user in Odoo.

If user mapping is not configured, calls will be logged as activities performed by the Odoo user who connected the integration.
If you are using NUACOM AI (free or paid), enable AI Call Data Sync to log call summaries, action items, topics, key points, and call emotion.
Then, click on "Save config".

Events Synchronization (Required)

  1. To enable call logging in Odoo, you must add an event listener.

    Click Add Event Listener.

    By default, all calls from all numbers and queues will be logged. 

    You can optionally limit logging to specific numbers or queues or disable call recordings.

    Click Save events.

Important Notes

  • Save your changes after every step. Skipping a save will prevent the configuration from working.

  • To initiate calls directly from Odoo, install the NUACOM Chrome Extension.

  • The integration requires the Phone and Mobile fields in Odoo Contacts.

    • These fields are available by default in Odoo versions prior to 18.4

    • In Odoo 18.4 or later, the Mobile field must be added using Odoo Studio
