In this article, you will learn how to integrate NUACOM with your Odoo CRM. This integration allows you to identify Odoo contacts during inbound calls and access their CRM information quickly. Furthermore, all call activities are automatically logged in Odoo, centralizing your communication history with detailed call information, call recording, and intelligent AI insights.
Initial Setup
- Log in to your NUACOM Account.
- Navigate through the menu on the left side of the screen to Settings > Apps and Integrations.
- Once within the Apps and Integrations section, you will see a list of integration platforms. Under the Odoo section, Click on 'View/Edit'. A modal window will appear as per image below. Then click on "+ Add New Account"
- You will need to fill in 5 fields:
- Username and Password = same email and pin you use to log in to your Odoo Account.
- DB = this is your database name that can be found by clicking here. For reference, in the image below, the DB is nuacom-test-account
- URL = your URL is https:// + your DB followed by .odoo.com
Eg. https://nuacom-test-account.odoo.com
- Display name = since we offer the ability to connect multiple Odoo accounts to a single NUACOM account, this field helps you identify which Odoo account you have just integrated with.
Then, click on Connect.
Please note that it may take some time to synchronize contacts between Odoo and NUACOM phonebook.
Configuration

Company Mapping: in case you have more than one company saved in your Odoo account.
Then, click on "Save Company Mapping".

Numbers Mapping: in case you wish to synchronize only calls from/to specific numbers to the Odoo account you just connected to. By default, if no number is configured in this step, all calls from all numbers will be logged.
Then, click on "Save Number Mapping". -
User Mapping (Highly Recommended): To ensure accurate call attribution within Odoo, it's crucial to map your NUACOM users to their corresponding Odoo users. This ensures that every call logged in Odoo clearly identifies the specific user who made or received it. Without user mapping, calls will be logged as activities performed by the Odoo user who connected this integration.
In case you use NUACOM AI (Free or Paid versions), activate AI Call Data synch to log Summary, Action Items, Topics, Key points and Emotion, as part of the call activity.
Then, click on "Save config". -
Events Synchronization: To ensure all your NUACOM calls are logged in Odoo, including call recordings, you must click on
. By default, this will log all calls from all numbers and queues. This section then allows you to customize the level of call logging if desired. You can choose to limit logging to specific phone numbers or call queues, or even disable call recording. However, clicking "Add Event Listener" is the foundational step to enable any call logging in Odoo.
Then, click on "Save events".
Note (1): It is crucial to save your changes after every step of the configuration phrase. Skipping the save action will prevent your desired setup from working.
Note (2): if you wish to initiate calls from Odoo Interface by simply clicking on your contacts' phone numbers, please download our Chrome Extension and follow these instructions.
Note (3): for this integration to work seamlessly, ensure the "Phone" and "Mobile" fields exist in your Odoo Contacts. These fields are typically available in Odoo versions prior to 18.4. If you are using Odoo 18.4 or a later version and don't see the "Mobile" field, you'll need to add it via Odoo Studio.
