The Text-to-Speech feature allows you to turn written text into an audio announcement. This is a quick and easy way to create IVR messages without recording your voice.

How to Create a Text-to-Speech Announcement

Step 1: Log In to the Portal

1. Go to https://app.nuacom.ie/

2. Log in to the Nuacom Portal

    

Step 2: Open Announcements

1. Go to Settings

2. Click Announcements

3. Click Add a new announcement
   

Step 3: Convert Text to Speech

1. Click Convert text to speech

2. Type the message into "Description" box.

3. Select the most suitable language or accent (if available)

4. Click Convert
   
    

Once converted, you can play it, and if happy'

Click "Submit speech".

Enter a name for the announcement

Add a description
(Tip: paste the full message text here to recognise it later)

Click Save description (paste the whole script, which will help you recognise the message later).


 

What Happens Next?

• The announcement is saved in the system

• It can now be used/applied in an IVR / call flow

• The same announcement can be reused in multiple places
