Initial Setup

  1. Log in to your NUACOM Account.
  2. Navigate through the menu on the left side of the screen to > Settings > Apps and Integrations.
  3. Within the Apps and Integrations section, you will see our various integration platforms. Under the Intercom section, click on 'View/Edit' and then 'Connect'.

If already logged into Intercom

A new window will open for Intercom. Inside this window, click on the 'Grant access' button.

If not logged into Intercom

If you are not signed into Intercom, a new window will open and instruct you to log in before completing the connection to the NUACOM platform.

 

 

Connecting

Once you are connected to Intercom, you can select and link your NUACOM Extensions with the Users on Intercom.

  1. Click the drop-down menu under the NUACOM logo and select an extension.
  2. Under the Intercom logo, select the corresponding user for this extension.
  3. Once all relevant extensions are administered to the corresponding users, you can move onto the next step.

 

Configuration

Next step is to go to Preferences in Settings.

In 'Call Event Notifications' section, click on the blue button “Add Event Listener”.

This is where you can set up events for all calls associated with your business. See options below:

Action to:

- Integration - choose this option.

- Email

- URL

 

Destination:

Choose Intercom - This is the live chat integration you have just set up.

 

For:

There are three options:

- All: If you wish to monitor all phones.

- Number: If you wish to monitor a specific number.

- Queue: Setup in the Queue section, monitor all calls from a group of phones, for example, all Sales phones.

 

You can choose the option you wish to associate NUACOM call events to Intercom. Most common option: “All”.

 

Value:

When choosing 'Queue' you may select the group you have already set up.

When choosing 'Number' you must select the exact phone number you wish to monitor.

 

Recording:

Choose to record all calls or not:

  • Included
  • Do Not Include
