Scenario:

You are already on a call and want to add a second participant to create a 3-way conference.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Start with an active call

You must be already talking to Caller A.

2. Press the Options soft key

This opens the in-call menu.

3. Select New Call (or Hold depending on firmware)

The handset will place Caller A on hold.

4. Dial the number of the second person (Caller B)

Enter number → press Off-hook, Speaker, or Headset to call.

5. Wait for Caller B to answer

You now have:

• Caller A on hold

• Caller B connected

6. Press the Options soft key again

A menu appears.

**7. Select Conference

The handset merges the two calls.

You now have a 3-way conference with:

• You

• Caller A

• Caller B

Managing the Conference

To split the conference:

1. Press Options

2. Select Split
   → Caller A and Caller B are placed on hold individually.

To hang up one participant:

1. Press Options

2. Select Manage Calls

3. Choose the participant → End Call

To end the entire conference:

Just press End Call on the handset.

Important Notes

• The base station (W70B) supports multiple simultaneous calls, so 3-way conferencing is fully supported.
