Overview
This guide covers the everyday features of the Nuacom V65 IP phone. The V65 shares the same interface as the V64 with the addition of Bluetooth support for wireless headsets. Follow these steps to make calls, transfer, use voicemail, and more.
Making a Call
- Dial first, then pick up: Enter the number, then lift the handset or press Dial or the hands-free button.
- Pick up first, then dial: Lift the handset (or press hands-free), dial the number, then press Dial or OK.
You can also dial from your phonebook, call log, or using redial.
Answering a Call
- Lift the handset, or
- Press the hands-free button, or
- Press the Answer softkey, or
- Answer via your paired Bluetooth headset
To reject: press Reject. To divert: press Divert.
Ending a Call
Put the handset down, press hands-free, or press the End softkey.
Note: If on hold, press Resume before ending.
Putting a Call on Hold
- Press Hold during a call.
- Press Resume to return.
Transferring a Call
- Blind transfer: Press Xfer, dial the number, press Xfer again.
- Attended transfer: Press Xfer, dial, wait for answer, announce caller, press Xfer to complete.
Muting a Call
- Press Mute — red light on, mute icon appears.
- Press Mute again to unmute.
Bluetooth Headset (V65 only)
- Go to Menu >> Basic >> Bluetooth.
- Enable Bluetooth and put your headset into pairing mode.
- Select your headset from the device list and confirm pairing.
- Once paired, calls will route to your headset automatically.
Redial
- Press Redial on standby to call the last number dialled.
- Or enter a number and press Redial.
Do Not Disturb (DND)
- Press DND to enable — icon turns red.
- Press DND again to disable.
Per-line DND: Menu >> Features >> DND.
Call Forwarding
- Press Menu >> Features >> Call Forward.
- Choose the type:
- Unconditional — forward all calls
- On Busy — forward when on a call
- No Answer — forward if not picked up in time
- Enter the forward number and press OK.
Conference Calls
- During a call, press Conf.
- Dial the third party and wait for them to answer.
- Press Conf again to merge into a 3-way call.
Voicemail
- Press the envelope button on the phone (the dedicated voicemail button with an envelope symbol), or go to Menu >> Messages >> Voice Message.
- Select your line and press Play to listen.
Phonebook
- Press Contacts or Menu >> PhoneBook.
- Search or browse contacts and press Dial.
- To add: press Add, enter name and number, press OK.
Call Log
- Press History or Menu >> CallLog.
- Browse and press Dial to call back.
