Setting Do Not Disturb on Cisco SPA 303

On Cisco SPA 303, use the “Do Not Disturb” feature to prevent incoming calls from ringing your phone. If you have voice mail configured, incoming callers immediately reach voice mail. If voice mail is not configured, callers hear a busy signal or message.

Activating Do Not Disturb

Using the dnd soft-key:

To activate Do Not Disturb, press the dnd soft-key. The LCD screen indicates that Do Not Disturb is turned on for your phone.

 

Using the Setup button:

You can also access Do Not Disturb by performing the following steps:

STEP 1   Press the Setup button.

STEP 2   Scroll to Preferences and press the select soft-key.

STEP 3   Scroll to Do Not Disturb and press the edit soft-key.

STEP 4   Press the y/n soft-key to choose y, then press the ok soft-key.

STEP 5   Press the save soft-key.

 

Using the star code:

Enter *78 to activate Do Not Disturb.

 

Deactivating Do Not Disturb

Using the -dnd soft-key:

To deactivate Do Not Disturb, press the -dnd soft-key.

 

Using the Setup button:

You can also deactivate Do Not Disturb by doing the following:

STEP 1   Press the Setup button.

STEP 2   Scroll to Preferences and press the select soft-key.

STEP 3   Scroll to Do Not Disturb and press the edit soft-key.

STEP 4   Press the y/n soft-key to change to yes.

STEP 5   Press the ok soft-key.

STEP 6   Press the save soft-key.

 

Using the star code:

Enter *79 to deactivate Do Not Disturb.
